Refund Policy

FitSignal is free to explore and you only pay when you upgrade to a paid plan. Your first paid billing period is backed by a 60-day money-back guarantee.

1. Free to explore, pay to upgrade

You can use FitSignal without paying anything: the Free plan lets you collect survey responses through the embeddable widget and shareable survey links, and a read-only demo workspace lets you tour the full product with realistic data — no card required for either. You're only charged when you choose to upgrade to a paid plan (Indie, Growth, Scale, or Enterprise), which unlocks email survey campaigns and higher usage limits. Paid plans are billed in US dollars, monthly or annually — your choice — with current pricing listed on our pricing page. All payments are handled by Paddle, acting as our Merchant of Record. This Refund Policy forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service at /terms.

2. 60-day money-back guarantee

If you're not satisfied, you can request a full refund of your first paid billing period within 60 days of your first charge — whether you chose monthly or annual billing. We'll refund what you paid for that period, in full, to your original payment method, with no need to explain why.

What's covered

  • Your first paid billing period — the initial charge when you first subscribe — on any paid plan, monthly or annual.
  • Requests made within 60 days of that first charge.
  • First-time subscriptions only: the guarantee applies once per customer. If you cancel, receive a refund, and later resubscribe, the new subscription is not covered by a fresh guarantee.

What's not covered

  • Renewal periods after the first billing period — these aren't automatically refundable, but you can cancel anytime to stop future charges (see below).
  • Unused time when you cancel mid-term — your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and we don't prorate or refund the remainder.
  • Taxes already remitted to tax authorities, where they can't be reclaimed.
  • Accounts terminated for breach of our Terms of Service at /terms or our Acceptable Use Policy at /acceptable-use.

3. How to request a refund

Email support@fitsignal.com from your account email within the 60-day window and tell us you'd like a refund. No reason is required. We confirm eligible requests within 1 business day.

Payments are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, so refunds are processed through Paddle and returned to your original payment method — typically within 5 to 10 business days. The exact time for funds to appear depends on your bank or card issuer, and the refund may show on your statement as a credit from Paddle.

If you think a charge is wrong, please email us first — we can almost always sort it out quickly, and usually faster than a card dispute.

4. Cancelling and future billing

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings in your workspace, or by emailing support@fitsignal.com. The same billing settings are where you update your payment method or change plan.

Cancellation stops future renewals: monthly plans renew monthly and annual plans renew annually until you cancel. After you cancel, your paid features stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for. Unless you're within the 60-day guarantee window, that current period is not prorated or refunded.

5. Taxes

Prices are shown in US dollars. As Merchant of Record, Paddle calculates, collects, and remits any applicable VAT or sales tax based on your location, and shows it at checkout. When we refund a charge, the refund includes the applicable taxes you paid on it, subject to the rules of the relevant jurisdiction.

6. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory refund or cancellation rights you may have as a consumer under the law of your country; where those apply, they are in addition to the guarantee above.
